These caster wheels with a 1/4 stem are perfect for shelves and are designed to make your shelving unit mobile. The rubber material effectively reduces the noise generated during rolling and the steel ball steering design makes the steering more flexible and smooth.

Please measure the size of the shelf tube post before making your purchase. When the tube post diameter is 3/4" and 1", our wheels are the perfect fit. You can check our thread size chart and select the adapter head according to the size you need.

The set comes with several adapters because it is difficult to differentiate between 1/4" stem, 5/16" stem, and 3/8" stem. With the universal design, you can use the 5/16" adapter to change the wheels' 1/4" stem into a 5/16" stem or use the 3/8" adapter to change the wheels' 1/4" stem into a 3/8" stem.

The caster wheels have a 3-inch diameter and a 1/4 inch stem. They are easy to install and suitable for various swivel side tables and shelves. The set of 4 contains 2 wheels with locking mechanisms and 2 without, making them suitable for different needs.

Our industrial wire shelves typically only use 1/4”, 5/16”, and 3/8” wheels, which is why our wheels are designed to be compatible with all three sizes. Additionally, they are easy to attach, move easily, roll smoothly, and protect your floor.

Each wheel has a 150 lb load capacity, making the set of 4 casters able to handle a maximum weight capacity of 450 lbs. Compatible with shelf posts with diameters of 3/4" and 1”, please confirm the size to avoid buying the wrong specification. The set also comes with additional 5/16" and 3/8" threaded adapters, providing universal use for wheels between 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8.
