Product Description About Leveling Casters

Leveling plate casters, also known as leveling caster wheels, are ideal for use on vending machines, retail displays, lab equipment, workstations, and other equipment that needs to be moved frequently but must remain stationary when in use. They are designed to allow the equipment to be easily rolled or re-positioned, saving time when re-configuring floor plans or production lines. Each caster includes a top plate that bolts onto the bottom of the equipment and a leveling pad that can be raised to allow the caster to roll or lowered to prevent rolling, with the pad’s height being adjustable to level the equipment.

As the leveling pad for each caster on a piece of equipment is raised and lowered, the equipment’s weight will temporarily be concentrated on fewer casters. Therefore, it is important that the casters have a combined maximum capacity of twice the equipment’s weight or more. All the casters in this set are swivel casters that are able to rotate 360°, allowing the equipment to change directions while rolling.
